Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.All healthy appropriate for gestational age babies born at gestational age of 34-36 weeks 2.Singleton baby 3.Exclusively or predominantly breastfed since birth and willing to continue it until 6 months of age.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Maternal Hb 2.Newborn condition like sepsis, meconium aspiration syndrome, congenital infections, genetic abnormalities, gross congenital anomaly, Apgar score 3.Hb <10.5gm/dl or other haematological disorder in an infant at enrolment
