Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Educated patients who are able to read and write in English 2. Age group 18 to 60 years 3. Diagnosed with diabetes within the past three months.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients of age group more than 60 years and less than 18 years will be excluded (so as to exclude minors and elderly, assuming to be extremes and less techno-friendly) 2. Patients diagnosed with complications of diabetes on initial visit 3.Pregnant women (may be cases of gestational diabetes mellitus)

1. Change in knowledge, attitude and practice 2. Change in Body Mass Index 3. Change in FBS, PPBS, HbA1C 4. Change in mean blood pressureTimepoint: At 0, 3, 6, 9, 12 months from recruitment except for HbA1C which will be accessed at 0, 6 and 12 months
