Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. All patients with colon cancer who undergo elective or emergent, open or laparoscopic, partial or total colon resections. 2. All patients with rectal cancer who undergo open,laparoscopic or robotic-assisted proctectomy.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Paediatric patients 2. Patientâ??s refusal to give consent
