Conditions

Health Condition 1: null- Complaining of throat pain, difficulty in swallowing, fever, enlargement of tonsils, burning sensation in throat etc ie (Tundikeri)tonsillitis

Interventions

Intervention1: Group A: Chitraka Haritaki Avaleha orally in empty stomach (morning and evening)with milk Dose 8-12 yrs 7gm BD 12-16 yrs 9 gm BD more than 16 yrs 10 gm BD and Haridradi pratisarana 3 g

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients presenting with the sign and symptoms of Tundikeri(Tonsillitis) described as per Ayurveda and modern science 2. The diagnosis of the disease shall be done on the basis of clinical manifestation like sore throat, red swollen tonsils, difficulty in swallowing, Hoarseness of voice 3.As per Ayurvedic texts Shofa,Toda,Daha,Prapaka

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients below 8 and above 25 years of age 2. Cases which require surgical intervention 3.Patients suffering from follicular tonsillitis, kissing tonsils,vincents angina,lower respiratory tract infection and other chronic debalitating disease like Tuberculosis,Diabetes mellitus
