Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. ASA I ,II 2. PCNL procedures with single puncture and with nephrostomy tube. 3. Age group 18- 60 yrs

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. ASA III,IV 2. PCNL with 2 or more nephrostomy punctures 3. Patients with uncontrolled diabetes mellitus 4. Patients with uncontrolled hypertension 5. Patients with associated cardiac and/or hepatic dysfunction • Patients with coagulation disorders • Patients with BMI > 30 kg/m2. • Sepsis • Excessive bleeding during the procedure • Surgery > 3 hours • Delayed recovery or requiring postoperative ventilation • Unwillingness to give consent
