Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Prevalent hemodialysis patients on thrice weekly hemodialysis for atleast three months. 2. Age > 18 years and 3.Stable vascular access- AV fistula 4.Stable clinical condition 5. Interdialytic weight gain of more than 2 kg

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.. Patients unable to provide informed consent 2.. Any vascular event during the 12 months preceding this study (myocardial infarct, heart failure New York Heart Association [NYHA] stage II/IV, heart rhythm disorders, cerebrovascular accident (CVA), (un)stable angina, symptomatic and/or operated peripheral vascular disease) 3. Patients in sepsis 4. Patients with past history of heat stroke 5 Baseline blood pressure less than 140/90 mm Hg 6. Patients with open wounds, catheter

MeasureTime frame
Average weight loss per session, Average inter-dialytic weight gain during the period of intervention.Timepoint: Pre and post intervention recordings. For average weight loss-30 minutes before procedure and 30 minutes after completion of procedure. For average inter-dialytic weight gain- measurement once a day on all non-dialysis days.

MeasureTime frame
Mean change in serum urea, creatinine , sodium, potassium, blood pressure, core temperature, thermal comfort and haematocrit per session, relief of pruritus , improvement in quality of life.Timepoint: Pre and post intervention 30 minutes before and 30 minutes after procedure
