Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1) Signed informed consent 2) Age: 18 to 69 years 3) Both sexes 4) Uncomplicated Unilateral Inguinal Hernia 5) Eligible for Elective Open Hernia Repair
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1) Emergency procedure 2) Inclusion in other trials 3) Bilateral inguinal hernia 4) Recurrent, strangulated/incarcerated hernia 5) BMI >30kg/m2 6)concomitant abdominal surgery long-term analgesic or steroid use ASA grade 3 or more Child-Pugh grade C hepatic cirrhosis any other disease severely compromising health and recovery
