Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1 Female nursing students. 2 Students aged between 17 to 30 years. 3 Students who are willing to learn yoga.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1 Anybody diagnosed with severe neurological or psychiatric illness. 2 Recently who underwent surgical intervention. (Duration depending upon type of surgical procedure). 3 Students who are suffering from hormonal imbalance and receiving treatment for the same. 4 Students who are regularly practicing yoga.

To evaluate the effectiveness of yoga on mindfulness, emotional regulation, resilience, self-compassion, satisfaction with life, empathy,stress,finger and hand dexterity,hand grip strength and spine flexibilityTimepoint: Eight weeks

To determine the effect of yoga on blood pressure, body mass index (BMI) and peak expiratory flow rate (PFR)Timepoint: Eight weeks
