Primary
| Measure | Time frame |
|---|---|
| o Central blood pressure is expected to be different than routinely measured brachial blood pressure, former being a more discrete measure of ventricular-vascular functioning. o Hypertensives and pre-hypertensives are expected to have higher central hemodynamic measures, arterial stiffness and altered cardiac output. |---|---|
| Despite treatment residual high risk is due to unmeasured parameters which ,though normally not measured , have to be controlled. Antihypertensive drugs alone or in combination have varying effects on these parameters and as such not many Indian references are available for that, Indian hypertensives being peculiar than western world.Various physiological parameters and risk factors are known to affect the result derived by PWA and we can be in position to describe same in our ethnic population.Timepoint: 2 years | — |
