Eligibility
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: • Systemically healthy patients , both males and females in the age range of 30-55 years having chronic generalized periodontitis • Patients with contralateral infra bony pockets measuring >= 6 mm. • Patients with radiographic evidence of vertical/angular bone loss • Consenting patients who are co-operative and able to come for regular follow up • >=20 remaining teeth
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: • Pregnant /lactating women • Patients allergic to citric acid • Patients on antibiotic therapy in the previous six months. • Patients who have undertaken any periodontal therapy in past 6 months • Smokers • Patients who are medically compromised or under therapeutic regimen that may alter the probability of soft tissue and bone healing.
