Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: neonates and infants undergoing surgery under general anaesthesia requiring endotracheal tube placement

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: raised intracranial pressure, high risk forpulmonary aspiration of gastric contents such asgastric outlet obstruction and bowel stasis, coagulopathyand presence of any pathology of head and neck would be excluded.
