Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: a) Apparently Healthy dental students without any known history of systemic illness above 18- 25yrs of age. b) Dental students with habit of tooth brushing twice daily

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: a) Patients with positive history of usage of anti microbial therapy in the last 3 months b) Patients with history of hypersensitivity to any of the medicaments to be used. c) Patients with orthodontic brackets d) Patients with Dental fluorosis e) Patients with systemic illness f) Pregnant or lactating mother

Oral Hygiene evaluation- Plaque Index (Silness and Loe) Gingival Index(loe and silness) Microbiological evaluation- plaque, saliva samples for Streptococcus mutans, Streptococcus sanguis and lactobacilli. Timepoint: baseline, 15th and 30th day
