Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: ASA I and II children of the above mentioned age group of either sex undergoing elective lower abdominal and penile surgeries of duration 30 to 60 minutes

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. antiemetic therapy within 24 hours before surgery. 2. cardiovascular and renal disease. 3. H/O motion sickness and/or PONV in patient, siblings and parents. 4. obesity - BMI > 30 kg/m2 5. children whose parents cannot be contacted by telephone. 6. contraindication to caudal block. 7 H/O allergic reaction to drugs used in the study
