Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: All pregnant women aged 18â??40 years and at <13 weeks of gestation, registered for antenatal screening at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at SJMCH

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Pregnant women with multiple fetuses, those with a clinical diagnosis of chronic illness such as diabetes mellitus, hypertension, heart disease and thyroid disease, those who tested positive for Hepatitis B surface antigen/ HIV / syphilis infection (venereal disease), or who anticipated moving out of the city before delivery, are excluded.
