Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Age group 20-60 years. Subjects should have at least 20 natural teeth. Subjects diagnosed of chronic periodontitis. Systemically healthy individuals. Subjects who have not received periodontal therapy, within preceding six months.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Smokers and alcoholics. Patients with Rheumatoid arthritis. Patients with Diabetes mellitus. Patients with liver disorders. Any other systemic disease which can alter the course of periodontal disease. Subjects should have not have recieved anti-inflammatory and antibiotic drugs in the previous 3 months
