Inclusion criteria: Patients highly suspected of having pulmonary and extrapulmonary tuberculosis and drug resistant tuberculosis

1.To detect tuberculosis from respiratory and non respiratory specimens of patients with high clinical suspicion 2.To determine the prevalence of rifampicin resistance in new and previously treated pulmonary and extra pulmonary tuberculosis patients Timepoint: 1 year, 6 months

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
To compare rifampicin resistant patients in terms of age, gender, socio- economic status, previous treatment history, contact with MDR-TB patients and immuno-compromised status.Timepoint: 1 year, 6 months
