Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Children aged 1 month to 12 years of adult parents with coma due to acute CNS infections
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients with metabolic coma like diabetes mellitus / diabetic ketoacidosis (DKA), liver failure, hypertensive encephalopathy and Reyeâ??s syndrome. 2. Patients with suspected / proven inborn error of metabolism (IEM). 3. Known case of developmental delay. 4. Brain death at the time of admission.
