Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: All patients diagnosed with beta thalassemia and on regular blood transfusion receiving once daily deferasirox. 2)Serum ferritin > 1500 mcg/L. 3)All thalassemia patients who are not on regular IV chelation therapy (receiving IV chelation during every transfusion)

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1)All thalasemia patients who are on oral deferiprone therapy.
