Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: (1) Patients scheduled to undergo craniotomy for supratentorial tumors (2) ASA-I and II patients. (3) 18 â?? 65 yrs of age

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1) Pre-operative hypernatremia or hyponatremia (serum Na 150mEq/L). (2) History of congestive heart failure, kidney disease, chronic obstructive airway disease. (3) History of ventriculoperitoneal (VP) shunt. (4) Initial serum osmolarity >320mosm/kg.
