Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Subjects having all first premolars fully erupted and an intact buccal surface with no structural defects; absence of clinical evidence of demineralized lesions and fluorosis; should consent for all first premolar extractions.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: History of previous orthodontic treatment, any systemic disease, evidence of demineralization prior to orthodontic treatment.
