Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: -Diagnosis of Alcohol dependence based on ICD-10 DCR criteria (WHO, 1993) -Score 20 or above on Alcohol Use Disorder Identification Test (AUDIT) which indicates alcohol dependence -Willing to undergo intervention -Willingness to provide informed consent for participation in the study -Subjects from Delhi NCR and adjacent areas

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: -Any current psychiatric illness based on clinical assessment -Current physical problem due to which he cannot undergo the intervention

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Rate of abstinence, number of drinking days last one month.Timepoint: 6 months following SKY

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
â?¢ Self report measuresâ?? number of heavy drinking days in last one month (greater than or equal to 5 drinks in men and 4 drinks in women), Perceived Stress Scale score, Five Facet Mindfulness scale scores. Timepoint: 6 MONTHS
