Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: (1) Presence of minimum two classical symptoms of diabetic sensory polyneuropathy (2) Impairment of two or more sensations viz. vibration, cold and hot.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: patients having any other associated clinical conditions influencing peripheral nerve function i.e peripheral vascular disorders.

Changes in signs and symptoms of diabetic sensory poly neuropathy.Timepoint: Graade score of signs and symptoms prepared by investigator given below: Never 0 Occasional (less than 3 times in a week) and in mild form 1 Often (more than 3 times in a week) and in moderate form 2 Almost daily and in severe form which responsible to impair routine work. 3

MeasureTime frame
Changes in the perceptions of vibration, heat and cold sensations exactly with the help of computer will be used to record these sensations before and after the treatment.Timepoint: A specifically designed Electronic machine NEUROPATHY ANALYZER, designed by Diabetic foot care India,Chennai, can record the perceptions of heat, cold and vibration in numeric value.
