Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Premature infants from gestational age of 26-36 weeks clinically stable

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Clinically Unstable: On Inotropes, Mechanical Ventilation, Sedated, Hypoxic ischaemic Encephalopathy

MeasureTime frame
Pain assessment by measuring PIPP (Premature Infant pain Profile ) scoreTimepoint: (1) Score the behavioral state before the potentially painful event by observing the infant for 15 seconds . (2) Record the baseline heart rate and oxygen saturation. (3) Observe the infant for 30 seconds immediately following the painful event. Score physiologic and facial changes seen during this time and record immediately.
