Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. All consenting patients of BPH recommended in department of urology to undergo Transurethral resection of prostate with prostate size >30 gm as measured by transabdominal ultrasonography will be included in this study. 2.Drug (5 alpha reductase inhibitors) free period of 6 months
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients with previous invasive procedures of the prostate. 2. Patients with known prostate cancer. 3. Patients who have received LHRH agonists, antiandrogens, estrogens, 5ARIs 4. Radiation therapy to pelvis 5. Patients allergic to finasteride 6.Patients on anticoagulant drugs
