Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Patients of 12month-12yr of age 2.Patients with severe sepsis or septic shock

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Any primary diagnosis other than sepsis 2.An absolute contraindication to neck central venous catheterization 3.Cases where consent is not given.
