Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients undergoing elective surgeries under general anaesthesia

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients with difficult airway, emergency surgeries

MeasureTime frame
The primary outcome of the study is to compare the tidal volume generated with these two techniqueTimepoint: After achieving end tidal isoflurane concentration of 1 MAC (approximately five minutes) the mean tidal volume generated with these two technique for one minute will be compared

The secondary outcome of the study is to compare the efficacy of these two technique between consultant and novicesTimepoint: After achieving end tidal isoflurane of 1 MAC the total tidal volume generated in one minute will be compared between consultant and novices
