Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Women with a term, singleton pregnancy presenting to the out patient or emergency services in latent phase of labor or prior to induction of labor

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Women with : • Multiple pregnancy • Preterm • Intrauterine fetal death • Congenital anomalies • Active phase of labor • Women satisfying the inclusion criteria but who do not progress into labor within 48 hours will be excluded.
