Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Three group of study population 1. Term baby 2. Late preterm (34-36weeks of post menstrual age) 3. Preterm babies

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Babies with congenital malformations or syndromes 2. Babies with clinical sepsis or proven sepsis and on IV antibiotics

MeasureTime frame
1. Detection of abnormal body temperature defined as a. Cold stress - 36 C to 36.4 C b.Hypothermia below 36 C c. Hyperthermia above 37.4 CTimepoint: 24 hours - 48 hours of monitoring

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
The temperature measured by fever-watch should be within 0.50C compared with the axillary measured during intermittent monitoring by digital thermometer.Timepoint: 24-48 hours
