Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Indian patients undergoing hip and knee arthroplasty
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: patients aged 90 years, patients with coagulation or bleeding disorders, hypersensitivity to aspirin or low molecular weight heparin, Heparin induced thrombocytopenia, history of thromboembolic disease/ chronic venous insufficiency, ocular or neurosurgical procedure during last 3 month, active peptic ulcer disease, severe renal insufficiency, systolic hypertension >200 mm Hg, pulmonary tuberculosis, a solid malignancy tumor, active Liver disease, peripheral vascular disease , and who refused to give consent.
