Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients of ASA grade I to III Patients scheduled for elective Microlaryngoscopy procedure under General Anaesthesia Preoperatively tracheostomised patients

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients on sedatives, hypnotic and antidepressants H/o severe cardiovascular hepatic and renal diseases Baseline Heart rate less than 50 bpm SBP less than 90 mm Hg DBP less than 60 mmHg before premedication, atrioventricular block more than first degree or left bundle-branch block

MeasureTime frame
To study the effects of dexmedetomidine on haemodynamic responses during intubation and microlaryngoscopy. Timepoint: To study the effects of dexmedetomidine on haemodynamic responses at premedication later every 2 minutes for first 10 minthen at Induction laryngoscopy and intubation and thereafter at regular interval of 5 minutes till the MLscopy procedure.
