Intervention1: JATYADI TAILA: To be applied on umbilical cord daily once till the cord get fall Application of oil followed by wrapping the umbilicus with sterile cotton gauze Control Intervention1:

Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: A full term delivered; appropriate for gestational age (36 to 40 weeks), healthy babies of either sex weighing between 2.5 kg to 3.5 kg will be included in study.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Preterm babies ( 3.5kg, babies with eventful birth history like perinatal asphyxia, birth asphyxia, IDM, babies of eclamptic or pre-eclamptic mother, babies whose mother having significant antenatal history of illness will be excluded from the study. Babies of hepatitis B or HIV infected mother, baby whose mother suffering from illness (TB or any such active infection) and babies with congenital anomalies like CHD etc. also will be excluded from the study.
