Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Rotterdam revised criteria 2003 (2/3 present) 1. Oligomenorrohea and/or anovulation 2. Clinical and/or biochemical (Elevated Total/Free Testosteron) signs of hyperandrogenism 3. Polycystic ovaries Clinical Sign & Symptoms of PCOS 1.Oligomenorrhoea or Amenorrhoea 2.Menstrual irregularities 3.Anovulatory Cycle 4.Obesity 5.Hirsutism 6.Acne 7.Acanthosis Nigricans Classical features of Artavdusti 1.Raja Apravruti 2.Atipravruti&Vikruti 3.Abija (Anovulation) 4.Sthaulya 5.Atilom (Sthulalomaganda) Other 1.PCO features on USG 2.History of PCOS in mother /sibling with clinical manifestations
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Pelvic / Systemic diseases causing Oligomenorrhoea and Anovulation. 2. Organic lesions of reproductive tract like T.B, Carcinoma and congenital deformities. 3. A current or previous (within last 6 months) use of OC pills, Glucocorticoids, Anti androgens, Ovulation induction agents, Anti Diabetic, anti-obesity drug or other hormonal drug. 4. Patients suffering from the following clinical conditions will be excluded: Cushingâ??s syndrome, Cardiac diseases.
