Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
duration for which 10 Fr.catheter was kept was 13.17 days which was significantly more as compared to 6.83 days among 20Fr.Catheter.pneumothorax in 2 patients of 20 Fr. catheter.comparison of mean percentage reduction in Lmax (maximum dimension of the abscess) between the two groups. At day 3, mean reduction was 25.71% in 10 Fr. Pigtail, which was significantly less than 43.14% among the 20 Fr. Catheter group. The same trend was observed at day 6 and 9.Timepoint: 12 days

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
average size of the abscess in our study was 795 ml as per the USG findingsTimepoint: 3 days,6 days,9 days
