Eligibility
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: pts undergoing surgery under general anaesthesia with any of the following: H/O difficult intubation thyromental distance less than or equal to 3 cm sternomental distance less than or equal to 12 cm range of motion of head and neck restricted Mallampati grade III, IV
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: mouth opening patients at risk of aspiration History of preoperative sore throat, respiratory tract pathology, COPD Cervical spine injury, raised ICT
