Inclusion criteria: Newly diagnosed cases of cystic echinococcosis of liver

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Children Ruptured cysts Infected Cysts Cysts with solid (pseudotumour) sonographic pattern Cysts with calcified walls Multivesicular cysts Pregnant women or women intending to conceive during the treatment period Patients with known Hyper sensitivity to albendazole Patients with Cystic Echinococcosis of other organs Superficial Cysts with less than 1 cm of overlying liver parenchyma
