Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: ASA grade 1& 2 for elective neurosurgeries in supine position, also aimed to test the effect of position of the patient on the consistency of cvp-peripheral venous pressure difference both within and between subjects

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Any cardiorespiratory co-morbidities 2.Any coagulation disorder or patient on anticoagulant 3.Morbid obesity 4.Difficult central and peripheral i.v. access 5.Infection at the site of insertion
