Health Condition 1: null- Patients who were admitted with diagnosis of acute poisoning and drug overdosage at IPGMER, Kolkata were subjects and were observed to know their final outcome in this observational study.

Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients weer recruited irrespective of their age and sex. 2.Suspected clinical diagnosis of acute poisoning due to any chemical, animal or plant product or biological agent. 3. Suspected clinical diagnosis of snake bite or scorpion sting. 4. Both primary and referral cases with above diagnosis. 5. Subjects or their legally acceptable representative should be willing to give written informed consent for study participation.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Cases of food poisoning. 2. Cases of dog or other animal bites. 3. Cases of chronic poisoning like arsenic or copper.
