Intervention1: Capsule Vanillin 500 mg to be given as single dose: Vanillin, a natural product derived from vanilla bean is a very commonly used flavoring agent, worldwide.

Eligibility
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: • Normal healthy participants (both male and female) in the age group of 18-45 years, as assessed by medical history taking and physical examination only. • Participants willing to give informed written consent and comply with the protocol requirements. • Participants agreeing to abstain from vanillin containing foods and drinks e.g. chocolates, ice creams, cola drinks, 24h prior to start of the study and assessed by history taking on the day of the study.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: The participants will be excluded based on the following criteria: • History of allergy to vanillin and related compounds • Those with history of or on treatment for coronary artery disease, diabetes, hypertension, bronchial asthma, treatment of any psychiatric condition and treatment for any chronic condition. • Any smokers. • History of any drug use for 48 hours prior to the start of study • Alcohol or marijuana consumption within 48 hours prior to drug administration, as assessed by history. • Any food or drug allergy. • Participants who are known to be former narcotic addicts or alcoholics.
