Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1)Age >= 18 years 2)Patients diagnosed with stage IV NSCLC 3) Patients who consent to participate (via a signed informed consent form) 4) Patients with no previous history of malignant disease

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Patients with lung cancers other than NSCLC 2.Patients with stage I-III cancers 3.Patients with active cancer other than NSCLC 4.Patients who had received prior chemotherapy 5.Patient charts that do not include the minimum data set

Primary

MeasureTime frame
The primary objective of the study is to evaluate longitudinal changes in quality of life among patients receiving palliative systemic therapy for Stage IV NSCLC.Timepoint: At Start of the study, then 2 months and then 5 months

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
The secondary objective of this study is to examine the relationship of the EORTC QLQ-C30 and LC-13 scales and survival in patients with stage IV NSCLC.Timepoint: After 12 months
