Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: We propose to test this device in intubated patients in MICU- Department of Critical care medicine meeting below criteria: Patients must be between 21 to 65 years of age Both sexes Patients must be orally intubated on ventilator care and on suction care protocol Patient or a legal representative of the patient gives written consent for the study.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: o Patients on oral anti-coagulation. o Patients on inotropic drugs. o Bleeding disorders. o Not able to obtain consent . o Enrolled in another clinical study. o Acute head , neck or facial injury patient

MeasureTime frame
1.Optimum locations of secretion pooling. 2.Physical properties( color and viscosity) of secretion. Timepoint: Single encounter. Calculated as a value based on study population at the end of the study.
