Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Patients, of any age and gender, requiring Leukodepleted red cell blood bags (LDRCs) are alloted the same, these mainly constitute nephrology and cardiothoracic surgery patients. The decision to transfuse LDRC blood bag to a patient is mainly dependent on the decision of the clinician/treating doctor or blood bank medical officer towards the benefit of the patient, and also on the availability of LDRC bags in blood bank.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: •Patients on antipyretic medication. •Patients with co-existing febrile illness.
