Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: All newborns with clinical features suggestive of late onset sepsis( >72hours) as per neo kiss primary BSI definition

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Hypoxic ischemic encephalopathy 2. Maternal severe pre-eclampsia 3. Severe IUGR ( 4. Maternal thrombocytopenia 5. Postoperative surgical conditions 6. Post exchange transfusion 7. Failure to obtain consent
