Intervention1: Leech Application: Leeches were applied over acne lesions 4 times with a 7 days gap in between in group A. In group B herbal face pack was applied daily for 30 minutes along with leech

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patient fit for leech application as according to classical texts. Patients having acne lesions over face.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Age 35 years Patient unfit for leech application as according to ayurvedic text Patient having acne lesions over chest trunk or any region other than face. Patient with known diabetes or bleeding disorder.

Effect of both the intervention in grading of acne (global index), no. of comedones, papules, pustules and cysts.Timepoint: 7/14/21/28 days Follow up- 1month

MeasureTime frame
Effect on associated symptoms i.e. Pain, itching, Burning sensation, Swelling, Discharge, inflammation, Discolouration and on scars.Timepoint: 7/14/21/28 days Follow up-1 month
