Intervention1: Dexmedetomidine and propofol: 1ug/kg IV for 10mins, 50ug/kg/min IV for 40mins Control Intervention1: propofol: 1mg/kg IV bolus followed by 50ug/kg/min IV infusion for 40mins

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: diagnosis of caries in a pair of maxillary incisor venhams anxiety score of 4/5 ASA-I physical status

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: medically compromised, any contraindication for sedation, allergy to drugs being used
