Intervention1: Aswaganthi Chooranam: Aswaganthi Chooranam is a poly herbal formulation 1/4 thola(3gm) 3-4 years -250 mg(b.i.d) 5-8years -500mg(b.i.d)

Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Age 3 to 12 years Willing to give sample for blood investigation Patient having hemoglobin 9g Smear showing hypochromatic microcytic anemia Pallor to skin mucous membrane conjuctiva

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Jaundice Hypermetabolic state Inherited defects History of Congenital Heart diseaes History of Patients with chronic anemia Patient with any serious illiness Smear not showing hypochromatic microcytic cells Patient not willing to give blood sample
