Intervention1: Leech application: leech/leeches was/were applied near to the the painful joint/area locally. 3 sittings of leech therapy was given in a 3 day interval. Control Intervention1: Etoricoxi

Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Pain in either of knee joint causing difficulty in walking. 4. Pain in any other joint along with knee joint. 5. Patient having difficulty in walking with in- creased walking time. 6. Patient unable to perform routine activity like bathing, eating, dressing.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. History of Pain for more than 6 months. 2. No of painful sites/joints equal to 4 or more. 3. Patient with bleeding disorders, uncontrolled diabetes. 4.Pain due to malignancy or some secondary cause, due to acute traumatic injury. 5.Disease with infective pathology involve- ment.
