Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. All consecutive patients attending psychiatry outpatient department of Father Muller Medical College with diagnosis according to DSM IV-TR criteria for panic disorders with agoraphobia and without agoraphobia. 2. Patients who have given written informed consent.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Cases with general medical conditions that could explain the symptoms amounting to panic attacks. 2. Cases with previously diagnosed other psychiatric disorders. 3. Cases not giving consent for the study.
