Health Condition 1: null- Patients diagnosed with ocular disease - primary angle closure glaucoma will be taken, with No other associated systemic illness

Intervention1: Group 1: Lens extraction with goniosynechialysis will performed in PACG patients meeting the inclusion criteria Control Intervention1: Group 2: lens extraction alone will be performed

Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Age >45years Phakic Patent Laser Iridotomy present IOP >25 mmHg at least 8 weeks post PI Patient able and willing to give an informed consent to have lens extraction with primary implantation of intraocular lens ± goniosynechiolysis.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Advanced glaucoma in the potentially eligible eye as determined by either: (i) visual field loss (mean deviation worse than -12 dB) or (ii) cup-disc-ratio >= 0.9; • Acute attack of angle closure glaucoma (APAC) • Corneal opacity precluding anterior chamber evaluation • Previous intra-ocular surgery • One eyed patients • Patient not consenting
