Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Subjects presenting with clinical features of Madhumeha(NIDDM). 2.Subjects of either sex between the age group of 30 to 60 years. 3.Subjects with FBS 120 mg/dl to 250 mg/dl and PPBS 180mg/dl to 300 mg/dl will be selected.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Subjects of Sahaja Madhumeha (IDDM). 2.Subjects with Severe Diabetic complications. 3.Diabetes mellitus due to other hormonal disturbances like Phaeochromocytoma, Acromegaly, Thyrotoxicosis etc. 4.Diabetes due to side effect of drugs:Diuretics (Thiazide groups),Steroids & With systemic or metabolic disorders such as varicosity,Venous Ulcers etc. 5.Pregnant women
