Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
To determine bispectral index targeted end-tidal desflurane concentration during the three phases of orthotopic liver transplant. Timepoint: From induction of anaesthesia till end of surgery

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
To evaluate the relationship between inhalational anaesthetic requirement and severity of liver disease among orthotopic liver transplant recipients. Timepoint: From induction of anaesthesia till end of surgery; To study the effect of changes in mean arterial pressure and body temperature on BIS targeted end-tidal desflurane concentration during the three phases of liver transplantationTimepoint: From induction of anaesthesia till end of surgery
